Carl Jaarssen (カール・ヤールセン) is the secretary of Prince Albert von Bartholomeus of Remiferia in Akatsuki no Kiseki.

Carl is an older gentleman with silver streaks in his greying black hair, which is parted. He has blue eyes, and wears a monocle over one of them. Carl also has a grey trimmed moustache. Carl wears a sharp black suit with white gloves, a dove gray waistcoat, white collared shirt and a purple tie.
Background
Carl originally worked for the Remiferia Police Headquarters. He studied martial arts abroad in Calvard.
