Background[]
The Chronos Rod is a heirloom passed down in the Dalmore family in Liberl.[1]
When Mayor Morris Dalmore was confronted by Estelle and Joshua Bright for the Mercia Orphanage arson, he used the Chronos Rod to paralyse his opponents. He pulled out a pistol to threaten Joshua, but Estelle's urge to save him activated the Gospel she had in her pocket. This artifact, capable of shutting down nearby orbments, rendered the Chronos Rod's ability ineffective.[1]
After Dalmore's arrest, Queen Alicia von Auslese II confiscated the Chrono Rod and is kept safely secured using the prescribed methods of the Septian Church.[2] The artifact was handed over to Gralsritter Kevin Graham. Shortly thereafter, Father Kevin smashes the Chronos Rod into the Gospel powering the Orgueille of Kanone Amalthea's uprising. The artifact breaks and releases a massive amount of orbal energy, enough to overload the Gospel.[3]
The whereabouts of the Chronos Rod's remains are currently unknown, though they are likely in the possession of the Septian Church.
