Claris (クラリス) is the daughter of Baron Poe. She believes being fashionable is part of being nobility and takes her father's wallet hostage to pay for her own expenses.

Claris is first met at Celdic's Grand Market, where she realises that the boring trip with her father, Baron Poe, might be worthwhile after all. At the market she discovers rare silk produced in the East and fetches her father to pay for her. Uninterested in the price—which was 300,000 mira—Claris urges her father to hurry toward the tailors in Bareahard to she can wear the dress in time for the Heimdallr Summer Festival.
Due to the tax increases, Letra at Valenty Tailoring requests an up-front payment of 80,000 mira. Despite her father's desperate pleas, Claris indicated her noble father should have no problem assembling the money within a day.
Later, Claris is seen with her father in Hotel - Der Himmel in the Garnier District, Heimdallr. She is once again giving her father a hard time by inquiring as to why she wasn't invited to the garden party to meet Princess Alfin Reise Arnor to show off her new dress. Further burdening her father, she indicates she finds attending at a dinner party at the Karel Imperial Villa an acceptable alternative.
When she catches a glimpse of Princess Alfin's smile from the limousine, she is finally in high spirits.
Trails of Cold Steel II[]
In December S.1204, Claris runs into Conan, the son of Baron Fafnir. She asks him whether he knew any merchants who deal in jewelry, so he has his father set up a meeting with Merchant Baroc in Sorciere Restaurant. Claris ignores Baroc's indication that her order is two zeroes over her stated budget and orders 40 of the 20-carat esmelas.
In March S.1205, Claris is found in Trista accompanying her father on a journey to repay his many debts. Completely oblivious to the origin of the debts, she complains about the Kirsche's Cafe & Inn's level of luxury and is later seen browsing curios in the Auditorium at Thors Military Academy. She's states she is on a budget of 500,000 mira and considered buying a cat costume to shock people at a high society gathering.
