The Beachside Vay-Cay is a minigame and Daydream featured in Trails into Reverie.
Background[]
The events take place from either Rean Schwarzer and Class VII (with some guests)'s perspective, or that of the Special Support Section. either of the groups are taking some leisure time at the Mishelam lakeshore beach. They are invited after the events of the Great War by Matthew Crawford.
The sand is imported from a beach called 'White Heaven' on the eastern side of the continent. Rean is given 7 tickets to spend at three events on the beach.
Gameplay[]
The first event is banana boating, the second is watermelon smashing, and the third is a special drinks corner for chatting with friends.
Banana Boat[]
You are asked to choose a partner. The game is played by adjusting the balance right and left to steer the banana as it is pulled by Mishy and the orbal speedboat. Flags are collected to gain ranks and a score. Tilting to much results in falling off.
Watermelon Splitting[]
There are two rounds. You are asked to select from amongst the male characters.
Firstly, you time the indicators to select how on target you are, and then time the circles to select the power. You are given a ranking based on how accurate and well-timed you are.
Drinks[]
Choose amongst the girls to have a drink with. The camera can be altered which determines certain dialogue options from the chosen character.
