Antoine is a cat found in Zeiss, usually inside the Zeiss Central Factory. He doesn't have an owner but it’s considered the factory’s cat, and tends to be cared for by anyone who feels the urge.

In the quest Smoker's Revolt, Antoine is an eyewitness to the theft of cigarette from the clinic's cabinet, and Estelle, Joshua, and Tita give him some fresh milk so he can follow them and aid them in finding the culprit. Thanks to Antoine, the group learns that Factory Chief Murdock was the one responsible for stealing the cigarettes.
When Estelle, Joshua, Tita, and Agate board the Leibnitz to sneak into Leiston Fortress, Maintenance Chief Gustav takes Antoine with him. Gustav puts Antoine inside one of the containers sent to the fortress, which upon inspection triggers the army's bio-sensor and makes them think a human is in the container. After being found out, he runs back into the Leibnitz.[1]
Later, before Estelle and Joshua leave for Grancel, Antoine goes to the Landing Port to say goodbye to them.[2]
Trails in the Sky SC[]
In the quest Parts Search, Estelle learns that Erick was playing with Antoine in the Lab, and that's why engineering parts flew out of his pocket.[3]
Antoine is brought aboard the Arseille with other ZCF engineers as they work with Prof. Russell on a solution to the Gospel problem.[4]
Antoine is found later in Krone Pass with Ray, both walking home from Bose since during the Orbal Shutdown Phenomenon no airship travel was possible.[5]

Antoine is on the Leibnitz when it goes to Valleria Lake to retrieve the Recluse Cube from its depths.[6]
