Father Holstein, a NPC you meet in Bose
Father Holstein is the priest in charge of the Bose branch of the Septian Church.
When Estelle, Joshua and Scherazard first arrive at the church in Bose, they're carrying along a letter from Father Divine, the priest in Rolent, which is addressed to Father Holstein. Upon receiving the letter, Holstein immediately concludes that his colleague is sending him a new recipes for healing solutions. He then explains to a surprised Estelle that her former teacher is considered somewhat of an authority in the area of medicine and that whenever he comes up with a formula for a new healing concoction, he always shares it with his fellow priests.
Unlike the more strict Father Divine and Sister Rosa, Father Holstein is quite easy-going and laid-back. He's a cheerful old priest with a magnetic personality who knows the congregation in Bose has a unique look on things at times and he's willing to give them space to practice their faith in their own way. This sometimes puts him at odds with the more traditional Sister Rosa and he feels that the latter should loosen up a little at times.
Despite his live-and-let-live attitude, he still has a desire for the church to play a bigger role in everyday life in Bose and one goal he specifically would like to pursue is getting the children of Ravennue Village to participate in his Sunday school sessions in the future.
