Kevin Graham (ケビン・グラハム), also known as the Heretic Hunter (外法狩(げほうが)り) and later the Thousand-Hand Guardian ((せん)護手(まもりて)), is a knight of the Gralsritter of the Septian Church, occupying the seat of the Fifth Dominion. He is a supporting protagonist in Trails in the Sky SC , the main protagonist of Trails in the Sky the 3rd and one of the three main protagonists in Trails beyond the Horizon.

Profile[]

Introduction[]

Trails in the Sky SC[]

A traveling priest of the Septian Church. Due to his light-hearted and easy-going personality and clothing it's quite hard to think that he's a priest, yet he's surprisingly thoughtful and caring. His job seems to be travelling around small villages without churches to preach sermons and teach children at Sunday School, but it seems he is tasked with other "missions" as well.[1]

Trails to Azure[]

The protagonist of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd and a traveling priest of the Septian Church. Despite his cheerful and upbeat personality, he is actually the fifth of the twelve Dominions of the Gralsritter, a covert unit of the church. In Trails to Azure, he becomes acquainted with Lloyd after coming to his aid during a certain incident.[2]

Trails beyond the Horizon[]

A traveling Septian Church priest and Fifth Dominion of the Gralsritter, also known as the Thousand-Hand Guardian. Though seemingly cheery and affable, he can be resolute and even ruthless in the course of his duties. Kevin once bore the title 'Heretic Hunter,' covertly eliminating those deemed heretical by the church. However, after making peace with the past alongside his squire, Ries, he vowed to use his powers to render not harm, but protection. At present, he seems intent on making contact with Rufus for his current mission from the church—the specifics of which are anyone's guess.[3]

Appearance[]

Kevin is a young man with blue eyes and messy green hair arranged in spikes. he wears a hoop ear piercing in his right ear. Kevin is almost always seen in his Gralsritter uniform, consisting of a plum-coloured long sleeve shirt and trousers with a red cropped jacket and matching tail attachment around his waist. He wears three belts around his thighs, two one one leg, one on the other, as well as sneakers in black and red.

Kevin makes use of a traditional Gralsritter bowgun as his weapon. There is a golden disk in the centre of the stock featuring the symbol of the church.

Personality[]

While not on the job, Kevin is extremely carefree and appears to be quite the womanizer, trying to find and spend time with any woman that gets his attention. He is also kind, helping out children or those down on their luck, giving them advice to lift their mood. Behind this helpful personality lies a dark side, though he rarely, if ever, shows it to anyone.

When undergoing an operation for the Church, Kevin drops most of his antics to ensure his mission will be successful. His generally carefree personality compliments the success of his missions, as it causes his opponents to greatly underestimate him. As his alias, the Heretic Hunter suggests, Kevin shows disdain toward anyone who causes the Church significant trouble.

He appears to be jealous of Joshua Bright; though they both share a similarly dark past, Kevin knows that Joshua can at least "live a proper life", whereas he cannot.

He is a huge fan of Stregas sneakers, something he has in common with Estelle, and his personal motto is to smile at all times.

Trivia[]

  • The supporting staff controlling Kevin's Merkabah are Squire Cesar and Squire Marcus.
