Background[]
After being ousted from the Reinford Group, Gwyn Reinford moved to the highlands and built a cabin next to the lake, becoming a hermit and passing the time fishing and helping the people of the Nomadic Settlement with orbment problems.
Trails of Cold Steel[]

Group A visits the lake looking for the hermit's help after the settlement's orbal truck breaks down, with Alisa meeting her grandfather again after five years.

- Journey to a Foreign Land: Group A heads to Lake Lacrima to ask the hermit for help repairing the settlement's truck.

Background[]
With the Watchtower falling early in the October War to the Noble Alliance, skirmishes in the southern highlands make the area too dangerous to stay in. The people of Nord move their settlement next to the lake, with Gaius Worzel returning together with Alisa and Millium Orion after escaping Erebonia. Gaius then brings Rean and his group to the lake after finding them in the previous settlement while they were searching for him. After resting there, they head to the northeast highlands where Alisa, Millium and Gwyn are investigating the communication issues, discovering the presence of a jammer at the Watchtower.
After the Watchtower is freed from Alliance control, the skirmishes in the highlands stop, and the nomads begin moving back to the south before the end of the war.
Quests[]
- The Nord Highlands: Gaius takes Rean's group to the new settlement at the lake, but the other members of Class VII are gone.
- Father's Pocket Watch: Gwyn knows about one of the parts needed to fix the watch.
