Linde (リンデ) is introduced as a student of Thors Military Academy's Class IV.

Appearance[]
Linde is a young woman with amber eyes and bright pink hair.
In her original appearance as a student of Thors, Linde wears the standard female uniform for commoner students, consisting of a Green blazer with padded sleeves, a white skirt, red neck-tie and a pleated skirt. Linde also wears tights and arranged her hair into two long wavy plaits tied with yellow hairbands.
Following graduation, Linde takes up a post at St. Ursula Medical College, where she now wears the pink nurses uniform used by its staff.Linde still wears black tights, but has let her hair grow longer and straighter, whilst keeping a single plait in a style similar to how she wore it as a student. The hairband is now blue.
Personality[]
Linde is originally a very polite, but timid girl. She also is friendly around those that she gets along with. There are times she gets flustered, particularly when her sister, Vivi annoys her or is pulling an excessive amount of pranks.She believes that she had been too soft on her sister, enabling her by letting her pull off her pranks. Ultimately, she cares for her sister and is the more mature of the two when it comes to looking out for one another, keeping her sister out of trouble from her pranks and being the emotional pillar for the pair.
Linde eventually grows in confidence, and after graduation is much less shy and timid about approaching others.

Linde is the elder sister to Vivi by a few minutes.
Trails of Cold Steel[]
During her time as a student at Thors Military Academy, Linde regularly fell victim to her twin sister Vivi's pranks. Vivi abuses their identical appearance to present herself as Linde and put her sister into awkward situations, including once with Rean and a grand rose traditionally used to declare love. Linde is very flustered until she works out what had happened, calling Vivi out ad chastising her for the situation.
Linde joins the art club, where she makes good friends with Clara and Gaius, improving in confidence to the point where she openly compliments the others' work. At some point, she has a academic competition with her sister to see who can do better academically, with the loser having to attended swimming lessons in a bikini. Linde wins but Vivi states that she will attend the lesson in disguise as Linde anyway, meaning it was a lose-lose situation for Linde. Another time, Vivi poses as her sister to make modifications to her paintings, usually in an effort to make them 'sexier'- efforts Linde is not fond of at all.
At the festival, Linde and her sister help as waitresses in the Eastern tea house 'Miyabi'. Linde is slightly embarrassed about the outfit they have to wear and spends much of the time apologising for her sister's antics. When the academy is under attack from Panzer Soldats, Linde urges everyone to stay calm.
Trails of Cold Steel II[]
During the Erebonian Civil War, Linde and Vivi are separated from one another as they flee from Trista.
When Linde and Vivi are reunited in Roer, Linde apologises for leaving her alone profusely and states how proud she is of her sister. After being reunited, they pledge to join the crew and do everything they can to help the effort. Linde ultimately finds out that their time apart has not made Vivi less fond of playing tricks, and laments that she hasn't grown up much.
Linde takes up the duty of the Courageous' radio officer, handling communicating with the Imperial Army and Railway Military Police well, especially in the aerial battle against the Pantagruel.
After the war, Linde is poised to take over the captain of the art club from Clara, and is mildly excited to be stepping out of her comfort zone.
Trails of Cold Steel III[]
After the civil war, Linde decided to pursue a medical career and enrolled at the St. Ursula Medical College in Crossbell and is eager to gain experience as a medical intern. she states that it was the war itself that spurred this decision, after feeling powerless at seeing all those hurt or in danger. If Linde is asked to participate in a radio drama, she will mention that she became friends with a patient who loved them during her time at the medical college.
Taking a post in the Spring, one of the first things Linde did was appointing Becky in charge of supplies. Linde is found with Becky when Rean and the new Class VII conduct a field study in Crossbell, now one of Erebonia's provinces. After the Pantagruel arrives, Linde mentions that seeing the ship doesn't bring back fond memories and seeing it made her feel like they were still at war.
Linde takes up a temporary role as medical officer at Thors Branch Campus, mentioning her desire to help the students, who in turn help her. She works closely with Kairi and wonders what kinds of questions Beatrix might set. During the summer festival, Linde is glad to reunite with Gaius, who she had not been able to contact in quite some time, remarking how tall he had gotten. The pair travel around Heimdallr together.
Linde is forced to put her knowledge to practice when Heimdallr falls into disorder in S.1206. She looks after the wounded to the best of her abilities but seemingly vanishes without a trace following the start of the Great Twilight and the bloom of black pleroma flowers.
Trails of Cold Steel IV[]
Making a reappearance onboard the newly undelivered Courageous II, Linde is revealed to be safe and well, having been recruited secretly to help prepare the new airship. She catches up with Gaius, Rean and Class VII afterwards, and will be staying onboard the Courageous II as a medic.
Linde and Gaius run into each other 'by chance' when everyone gathers at Mishelam the night before the start of the Great War. They talk about their home towns and pledges to do their best for their friends, whilst Rean looks on and wonders if they might be dating, backing off as soon as he could.
Linde is also part of the joint effort to get through to Alan.
Trails into Reverie[]
Linde is still working as a medic at Thors Branch campus, but states she will return to St Ursula when the year is over. She catches up with several other alumni present at the branch campus festival.
Linde was travelling back to Crossbell for a workshop, but was waylaid after the occupation. She remains with Vivi in the capital for the time being. She has been working with her sister to find information, but finds it has not been very forthcoming and there have not been many strong reactions to what is happening in Crossbell. She wonders how Gaius is doing in Nord.
Later, Linde helps Professor Seiland take care of Mireille at St Ursula, stating she can't so much on the front lines, and has to help where she can.
