This is a list of Character Notebook profiles that can be obtained in Trails of Cold Steel. Filling half the notes grants the Medal of Friendship and filling all the notes grants the Social Note-working trophy.

Rean Schwarzer

	A young man who is part of Class VII. Easygoing, honest, polite, and sociable.

	Belongs to the Wind Orchestra. A meek, kind-natured boy with red hair. Dislikes conflict.

	Daughter of the viscount who rules over Legram. Practitioner of the Arseid school, and the strongest first year.

Machias Regnitz
	Year 1	Class VII	(Lower Class Chess Club)
	Class VII's vice president. Son of Heimdallr's governor. He hates the nobility with a passion.
Top Grades Scored joint highest in the midterm examinations with Emma. His diligence in studying for them paid off in the end.			6/23, after seeing the midterms results
Machias' Past Machias' hatred for nobility stems from a past event involving his cousin. That hate seems to be fading over time, though.			7/25, after visiting Machias' home

Emma Millstein
	Year 1	Class VII	(Literature Club)
	Intelligent, broadminded girl who came from a remote region of the Empire. Class VII's class president.
Tutor Considerate towards others, personally helping Fie with her studies.			5/22, after school
Celine Emma gets along very well with a local black cat, and seems to be caring for her in private.			7/17, after seeing Emma and Celine either on the Academy Field or in the dormitory

Jusis Albarea
	Year 1	Class VII	(Riding Club)
	The son of Duke Albarea who tends to keep others at a distance. Skilled at traditional court fencing.
Bastard Son Jusis' mother was a commoner, a fact that soured the relationship with his father, Duke Albarea.			5/29, after finishing the day
Horse Carer He cares for horses back at home, and appears to get along well with the horses at the academy as well.			6/20, after attending Jusis' bonding event
Oil and Water While he seems to be liked by children, he has difficulty dealing with the overly-affectionate Millium.			8/28, at the start of the day

Fie Claussell
	Year 1	Class VII	(Gardening Club)
	A quiet and petite girl who somewhat resembles a cat and loves sleeping. Agile and skilled at combat.
Jaeger Member When Fie was younger, she used to be a member of a jaeger corps.			5/30, after blasting the door to the jail
Sylphid When she was a member of the Zephyr Corps, she went by the codename 'Sylphid' on the battlefield.			7/24, after the duel with Laura

Gaius Worzel

	A tall exchange student. Soft-spoken, but has a strong sense of integrity. Can be relied on when it counts.

Millium Orion
	Year 1	Class VII	(Cooking Club)
	Part of the Imperial Army's Intelligence Division. Generally carefree, but does act like an agent at times.
Hates Ghosts She is terrified of ghosts and other supernatural entities.			8/29, after entering Lohengrin Castle
Fun Times She has adjusted quickly to academy life and seems to be enjoying it greatly. She has even joined a club already.			9/19, after attending Millium's bonding event

Crow Armbrust

	Technically a second-year student. A bit of a playboy, but is caring and dependable. Short on credits.
Blade He was the one responsible for introducing Blade to Trista. He enjoys playing it with the local children, too.			5/23, after attending Crow's bonding event

	Year 1	Class I	(Fencing Club)
	An arrogant upper class student. Believes strongly in the class system, and looks down on commoners.
Hyarms Family The third son of Marquis Hyarms, head of one of the Four Great Houses. One of the highest-ranking first years.			5/22, after school

Ferris Florald

	Daughter of Count Florald. High-handed and hates losing. Strangely antagonistic towards Alisa.
Worthy Rival Despite Ferris' previous animosity, she and Alisa have come to recognize one another as worthy rivals and friends.			8/22, after attending Alisa's bonding event

Kenneth Lakelord

	Head of the Imperial Fishing Club. Carefree, and loves to sit and fish whenever he has the chance.

	A sensible upper class student. Plays the piano in the Wind Orchestra.

	Daughter of a baron. Came to the academy to search for a future husband and become a better potential wife.

Hugo Kleist
	Year 1	Class III	(Unaffiliated)
	A student who commutes from Heimdallr every day. Seems to get along well with the budding merchant Becky.

	Year 1	Class III	(Swimming Club)
	A quiet, reserved first year girl. Not very good at sports.

Mint
	Year 1	Class III	(Wind Orchestra)
	Plays the flute in the Wind Orchestra. An optimistic girl who doesn't dwell on things.
Cookery She made a new kind of homemade food for her uncle, Instructor Makarov. It as a distinctive bitter taste.			9/19, after completing From Heart to Stomach

Beryl
	Year 1	Class III	(Occult Research Society)
	A somewhat suspicious girl who acts as head of the Occult Research Society.
7 Mysteries She was investigating the academy's seven mysteries. It seems there are two sets of mysteries, though...			8/22, after completing Thors' 7 Mysteries

Casper
	Year 1	Class IV	(Swimming Club)
	A boy who joined the Swimming Club because he looks up to its captain. Tenacious and energetic.
Seaside Town Comes from a seaside town in the Lamare Province, so he's used to swimming, but he admires the more skilled Laura.			5/22, speak with Casper in the Gymnasium

Alan
	Year 1	Class IV	Fencing Club
	A very competitive and stubborn boy. Spends his days training in pursuit of strength.
Resolve The reason he avoided Bridget was that he didn't want her to see him at less than his best.			7/18, after completing Childhood Friend's Intentions

Linde
	Year 1	Class IV	(Art Club)
	A polite girl who belongs to the Art Club. Somewhat timid, which leads to her being used by others.

	A girl who loves playing pranks on people. Always searching for something fun to do.

	A shopaholic first year. Spends as much time as possible walking around the various shops in town.

	Year 1	Class V	(Photography Club)
	A member of the Photography Club who has little interest in taking photographs of anything but attractive girls.

	Year 1	Class V	(Unaffiliated)
	A boy who doesn't stand out very much. Always looking for material for something.
Radio Addict He sends in lots of material to the radio show Abend Time, and has a lot of signed stickers for doing so.			6/20, after completing A Sticky Situation

Paula
	Year 1	Class V	(Riding Club)
	A lively first year. Doesn't mince words, even when she's addressing a member of the nobility.
Improving She was originally a beginner at horse riding, but has slowly improved to the point where she can ride unassisted.			9/19, speak with Paula in the Academy Field before completing Old Schoolhouse Mystery VI

Becky
	Year 1	Class V	(Unaffiliated)
	A budding merchant who's always looking for new ways to make a profit.
Sales Battle She and Hugo competed to see who could sell the most during the festival. In the end, both were skilled merchants.			10/24, speak with Becky at the front entrance stall

Rosine
	Year 1	Class V	(Unaffiliated)
	A deeply spiritual, noble-minded girl. Can get along with just about anyone.
Slimming? She gives off a different impression to people when she wears her habit, a fact she's concerned about.			8/22, after completing The Sleeping Boy

Angelica Rogner
	Year 2	Class I	(Bike Club)
	The daughter of Marquis Rogner, head of one of the Four Great Houses. Loves her orbal bike.

	The eldest son of Count Florald. A typical narcissistic young nobleman who's always accompanied by Sariffa the maid.

	Year 2	Class I	(Fencing Club)
	The Fencing Club's calm and pleasant captain. Always supporting her club's members from the sidelines.

Lambert
	Year 2	Class II	Riding Club
	Always with his beloved horse and partner Whitcomb. Head of the Riding Club, and passionate about horses.

Fidelio
	Year 2	Class II	(Photography Club)
	Kind, sensible head of the Photography Club. While a noble, he doesn't place importance on social class.
Responsible While usually pleasant, he's responsible as the Photography Club's head, and punished Rex for his transgressions.			7/18, after completing Snapped

Theresia
	Year 2	Class II	(Lacrosse Club)
	A refined second year noble. Second-in-command in the Lacrosse Club, supporting the club alongside Emily.
Good Team While Emily is better at sports, Theresia is better at studying. She helped Emily study for the midterms.			6/15, speak with Theresia in the Library

Edel
	Year 2	Class II	(Gardening Club)
	The head of the Gardening Club, never seen without her straw hat. Open minded and easygoing.

George Nome
	Year 2	Class III	(Engineering Club)
	A good-natured second year who runs the Engineering Club. Loves tinkering with orbments and adept with technology.
Tech Institute He stays in regular contact with the Roer Institute of Technology, sending them regular reports on the orbal bike.			5/23, speak with George in the Engineering Building

Towa Herschel

	President of the Student Council. Very hard working, and trusted by students and instructors alike.
President Her skills draw the respect and support of all of her classmates, regardless of social class.			6/20, after attending Towa's bonding event

Stefan
	Year 2	Class III	(Lower Class Chess Club)
	Head of the Lower Class Chess Club. Not the most skilled player, but he makes up for it with love for the game.

Clara
	Year 2	Class III	(Art Club)
	Head of the Art Club, and an artist in the purest sense. Usually found in the club room sculpting--her specialty.
Natural Talent She seems to be able to score decently in exams without studying at all, and uses that time for art instead.			6/15, speak with Clara in the Art Room

Hibelle
	Year 2	Class IV	(Wind Orchestra)
	The second-year head of the Wind Orchestra. Plays violin. Skilled with the technical side of music, too.
Concert He was injured in the run up to the concert, meaning he couldn't take part. He was proud of the others, though.			8/22, speak with Hibelle in the Music Room after completing Old Schoolhouse Mystery V

Loggins
	Year 2	Class IV	(Fencing Club)
	A scary-faced member of the Fencing Club. His most noticeable flaw is being a little short tempered.

Emily
	Year 2	Class IV	(Lacrosse Club)
	The passionate captain of the Lacrosse Club. Always encouraging the other members of the club.
Friendship Emily and Theresia didn't get along at first, but they eventually became best friends--a fact that she's very proud of.			8/21, speak with Emily in the Academy Field

Klein
	Year 2	Class V	(Swimming Club)
	The eloquent captain of the Swimming Club. Always encouraging the club's members to excel.
Family Man He's deeply devoted to his mother, who single-handedly raised him and his younger siblings after his father died.			5/23, after completing Substitute Tutor

Nicholas
	Year 2	Class V	(Cooking Club)
	The big-hearted head of the Cooking Club. Never seems to be fazed by anything.
Cooking Master Has the unusual ability to tell what ingredients--and how much--are used in something simply by tasting it.			4/18, after completing Story of the Seasoning

Dorothee
	Year 2	Class V	(Literature Club)
	The imaginative head of the Literature Club. Is often a little too excited over the stories she reads.
Maidenly Hobby She writes somewhat obscene stories about romance between young men.			7/18, after attending Emma's bonding event

Instructor Sara Valestein
	Instructor (Combat, Practical Skills)
	Class VII's homeroom teacher. More than a little slovenly, and is often seen drinking in the early afternoon.
Odd Friendship She seems to be acquainted with Micht at the pawn shop, and they both seem to know one another's backgrounds.			5/23, speak with Sara and Micht in Micht's Pawn Shop after completing Old Schoolhouse Mystery II
Former Bracer She was formerly an A-rank bracer belonging to the guild in Heimdallr. Was known as 'Purple Lightning.'			7/25, after finishing the day

Principal Vandyck
	Principal
	Thors Military Academy's principal. Used to be a general in the Imperial Army, and still retains an aura of dignity.
Calligrapher He's enjoyed calligraphy for almost ten years, taking an interest after leaving the army. Uses a fine Eastern ink brush.			7/18, after completing A Brush with Destiny

Instructor Neithardt
	Instructor (Military Science)
	An active-duty major in the Imperial Army's 4th Armored Division. Serious in nature and lacking in friendliness.
Slave Driver Pushes his students to complete Military-style training.			7/18, after completing Swimming Lessons

Vice Principal Heinrich
	Vice Principal (Political Economics)
	A baron who teaches political economics. A high-strung man who's a stickler for rules and complains often.
The Notebook He walks around with a private notebook, guarding its contents from prying eyes.			10/21, after completing Duly Noted

Instructor Thomas Lysander
	Instructor (History, Literature)
	The epitome of carefree. Well versed in folklore and legends. Tends to get overexcited while teaching.
The Library Currently in charge of the academy's library. He enjoys spending all his free time there, looking through books.			8/22, after speaking with Thomas during Thors' 7 Mysteries

Instructor Makarov
	Instructor (Orbal and Natural Sciences)
	Performs his job well, but always seems to find it tedious. Year 1, Class III student Mint is his niece.

Instructor Beatrix
	Academy Nurse (Medical Science)
	A kindly instructor who is in charge of the infirmary. Has a mild bedside manner and is welcoming to all students.
Intimidating Usually kind, but capable of giving off such an aura of intimidation that even Vice Principal Heinrich fears her.			8/28, speak with Beatrix and Heinrich in the Main Building in the morning

Instructor Mary
	Instructor (Music, Art, Cookery)
	An instructor who joined the academy just this year. Completely devoted to her students.
Count Altheim Daughter of Count Altheim, head of a major noble family in the Sutherland Province. Puts being a teacher first.			8/21, speak with Mary in the Home Ec Room

Butler Celestin
	Butler (Upper Class Dormitory)
	A butler sent by the Hyarms family. Completes all of the tasks assigned to him perfectly and completely.
Devoted He was ordered to return by the Hyarms family, but is doing all he can to stay in Trista for Patrick's sake.			9/19, after completing Celestin's Secret with bonus AP

Sariffa
	Maid (Upper Class Dormitory)
	A maid sent by the Florald family. Always accompanies Vincent wherever he goes.
Odd Servant She has served Vincent and Ferris for so long because she finds them 'interesting and endearing people.'			8/22, speak with Sariffa in the Upper Class Dorm before completing Old Schoolhouse Mystery V

Lotte
	Maid (Upper Class Dormitory)
	A relatively plain maid who works at the upper class dormitory. Still very much in training.
Cooking She's currently trying to expand her cooking repertoire so she can serve a greater variety of food in the dorms.			Speak with Lotte near the Upper Class Dorm anytime after completing Orbal Delivery

Sharon Kreuger
	Maid (Class VII Dormitory's Caretaker)
	An exceptionally skilled maid sent by the Reinford family. Supports Class VII as their dormitory's caretaker.
Like Sisters Alisa looks up to her like an older sister, while Sharon adores her like a younger sister.			6/20, after attending Alisa's bonding event
Super Maid As Chairman Irina's maid, she even helps to fulfill her duties as one of the academy's board directors.			7/17, speak with Sharon in the Main Building
