Speaking with Imperial Fishing Club members (Freddy, Kenneth, Annabelle, Lakelord II, Old Man Aaroy in Eryn, Receptionist Salem in Crossbell) with enough types of fish caught will increase Rean's Fishing Rank and grant him a piece of fishing gear:

Some fish only become available after speaking with a club member after a certain day. During the Finale: "Scattered Petals, Dying Flames", every fishing club member will gather in the Mishelam lake beach to try to catch the Grand Lakelord. Rean can try to catch it once 29 different fish have been caught, and catching it earns Rean the title of Angler God and the Angler God Badge.

Scenic Pictures[]
Landscape photos can be taken at certain locations and sent to Rex for a reward. Sending all photos earns the Retro Viewfinder accessory, 10 Thors Unity Rating and grants the Shutterbug trophy.
Cryptids[]
Cryptids will appear at various locations after certain days. Defeating the cryptids earns special quartz that enable the use of Lost Arts, and defeating all five is necessary for Toval Randonneur to send his request during the Finale: "Scattered Petals, Dying Flames".
