Lynn (リン) is a bracer affiliated with the Crossbell branch. She is specialised in the Taito school of martial arts.

Profile

Appearance

Lynn is a young woman with striking yellow eyes and medium length indigo hair, through which a white headband is tied. She wears a form fitting eastern styled top in white that split down the center with several golden laces and buttons. Lynn wears a short cropped jacket in black with red and white cuffs ending at her upper arm. Her arms are wrapped in bandages and she has matching black and red fingerless gloves to her jacket. She wears a lilac girdle fastened with a belt and orange shorts. Lynn also wears laced-up sneakers, knee-high socks, and a garter all matching the red and black theme.

Personality

Lynn is highly mindful of the need to be cautious and alert, even when working in a group with strong members. She is very apprehensive about the idea of the Special Support Section, calling them slackers and mocking them for needing to be rescued, although she does come around to respect them. She states she is a bit embarrassed when Kilika raises her merits, showing some humility.

Background

Lynn was trained in the Taito school of martial arts. She states that her teacher never let her slack, not even for a second. 8 years prior to the start of the story, she fought Kilika Rouran, who now thinks she has grown into a remarkable bracer.

Zero and Ao no Kiseki

Lynn is introduced as one of several bracers working in Crossbell. She notes they have a strong collection of bracers working there but is mindful about not being overconfident. She is often paired up with Aeolia on missions. Lynn is very reluctant to accept the idea of the SSS and working with them, going so far as to mock them at the start. Throughout the story, the bracers are investigating Revache, providing security for the parade and completing other odd jobs.

When Lynn and Aeolia go missing during one of their missions, the SSS sets out to find them, using the Orbal net, Tio Plato's Aeon system and the Orchis Tower to ping their location. They had been waylaid in the swamps by the Stahlritter, who completely outmatched them.

Hajimari no Kiseki

Lynn takes part in liberating the city from the remnants of Rufus' personal guard. She also takes part in bracer missions in Mainz, Armorica Village and a monster extermination request near St. Ursula Medical College. During a catchup with the SSS, she mentions news from Calvard, such as an up and coming young A-rank bracer, the booming economy and Zin Vathek's prospective promotion.

Lynn helps in the resistance efforts by engaging Zauber Soldat units on the Mainz road, allowing Lloyd's group to proceed to the Moon Temple. She later helps in the retaking of the city, praising Laura for her sword skills and explaining how she had been fighting monsters with Aeolia.

Lynn and the rest of the Crossbell bracers arrive on a bobcat to the final battle at Reverse Babel, where they take part in the battle against Elysium.
