The Happiness Stone (幸せの石) is the fifth Moon Door in Trails in the Sky the 3rd.
Background[]
Moon Door 5 can be found in the Monochrome Schoolhouse's Old Schoolhouse. A Luck quartz is required to open this door.
Walkthrough[]
- Head south, then west.
- At the beach, examine 5 seashell spots.
- Head to Manoria Village and enter the windmill.
- Head north and walk north of the fork for a scene, and continue north for another scene.
- Examine 4 trees and the flowerbed below a tree.
Synopsis[]
The children at Mercia Orphanage are resolved to get a present for Matron Theresa's birthday. Clem and Daniel rush off on their own, leaving the girls Mary and Polly to find a present for themselves. They wander around searching for a rumored happiness stone, running into Grant and others in Ruan before Polly is separated from Mary and Mary finds herself alone- lost.
Mary wanders into the mountains, hungry and tired, where she encounters a small 'fairy dragon' who is just as scared of her as she is of it. They soon bond and have lots of fun together before Mary is taken for a ride on the dragon. After falling asleep, Mary wakes up alone and decides it was just a dream. She decides to go home and ends up more lost, wandering onto a rope bridge that she is blown off. The dragon flies up to her and rescues her and they fly through the air.
Mary wakes up on the Gull Seaside way and Grant finds her with the other children. Mary finds a happiness stone in her pocket and she combines its with Clem's old necklace to make a gift for the Matron. Grant escorts them back to the orphanage where they have a party.

Trivia[]
- The small dragon remains largely a mystery, but an enemy fought in the Arena that shares the model is called 'Tiny Ragnard'. Whether it is the same Ragnard in a different form is undetermined.
