Mueller Vander (ミュラー・ヴァンダール) is a Major in the Imperial Army of Erebonia, assigned to its 7th Armored Division. He is also the childhood friend and constant companion of (and babysitter to) Imperial Prince Olivert Reise Arnor.

An Imperial military officer dispatched to the Erebonia Embassy in the Royal Capital. He is the childhood friend of Olivier, and even if he has long been troubled by his eccentric behavior, the depth of their friendship can be in a way seen when he restrains him without question. Although his rank is unknown, he is a master swordsman, and easily wields his jet-black greatsword with one hand.[1]

A major in the Imperial Army, Mueller is a peerless warrior who serves as Prince Olivert's bodyguard, having come from a military family who has traditionally protected the Erebonian royal family for generations. Since childhood, he has been both a friend and an elder brother of sorts to Olivert, and often finds himself cleaning up after the latter's many escapades.[2]Appearance[]
Mueller is a tall young man with short brown hair and green eyes. He wears the standard officers' uniform of the Imperial army,mostly purple with black stripes a d a gold trim, padded purple trousers, boots and a white cape with golden tassels.
Mueller is armed with a large great sword with an ornate golden cross in the centre of the blade. The hilt and cross guard feature exaggerated golden guards which extend to cover the hand on both sides. The blade itself is black with silver edges.
Personality[]
Mueller is a steadfast and loyal soldier who strives to do his best for his country. As a Vander, he holds great pride in his swordsmanship and his family history.
However, his relationship with Prince Olivert Reise Arnor is a little bit complicated. While they are good friends, Mueller gets constantly irritated and exasperated by Olivert's flirtatious jokes, pranks, immature disappearing habits and having to constantly help him get him out of trouble. Despite this, he does realize that some of the stuff that Olivert does is for the good of their nation and their international relationships.

- It is unknown what happened to his biological mother/Matteus's first wife. Mueller's stepmother was Aurier, who was his younger brother Kurt's biological mother.
- Mueller (nowadays written as Müller) is a German word and common last name which translates to "miller".
