Nemeth Island (ネメス島) is an island off the coast of Calvard. It can be reached by air or sea.

Nemeth island is the location of the D∴G cult lodge, Paradise. Unlike the other lodges which were largely destroyed by the D∴G Cult Extermination, Paradise's relatively secret location meant it was excluded from demise at the time.

The Paradise lodge is located beneath the Island, accessed by a secret passage underneath an ancient shrine. A large concentration of Septium veins are present here and in the depths the mana is of an especially high concentration. The Cult sought to create a gate to the Underworld here through which demons could traverse.

On the surface, Paradise acted as a exploitation facility where rich and influential individuals took advantage of children abducted by the cult. The cult would use their knowledge as leverage to blackmail and influence these people to further the cult's ambitions and power. Paradise's true interest lay in research towards the extraction and mutability of an individual's persona, in the hopes of creating a vessel for their 'true god'. This was done through the use of Pleroma Grass and Gnosis.

Despite avoiding the fate of the many lodges wiped out in the extermination operation, Paradise did not escape destruction. An Ouroboros strike team including Arianrhod, Leonhardt and Joshua Astray destroyed this lodge and everyone within it, taking Renne, a victim of Paradise, back with them. By some unknown means, the cultists who were killed in this action placed a curse upon the research facility present on the Island.

Ellroy Harwood is revealed to have bought the island and is now its current owner.

Nemeth Island is a tropical area with luxurious beaches, vast areas of palm forests and access to the ocean. Nemeth Island has several ruins dating back to the Dark Ages, including stone pillars and arches. There is an ancient shrine, several caves and an old church which has been desecrated. Gravestones mark the burial sites of those who died here long ago.

Nemeth Island is popular as a tourist resort, and a large hotel facility and coastal resort is present on the island. An orbal ferry transports people to the Island and it is also reachable by airship. The staff who work here do not know who the owner is.

Van Arkride and the Arkride Solutions Office are invited to Nemeth island by an "EH". Van has a suspicion of who this might be but travels there anyway. The Solutions Office take some time to enjoy the resort but eventually they realise that several other groups and parties have been gathered here for an unknown purpose. Those gathered include Enforcers of Ouroboros, the Bracer Guild, Iscariot, the Gralsritter, Heiyue, Zecht Arms, Ikaruga, MTSC, Sherid Asval and Naje Berka. The Marduk Company's threat analysis AI has classed this area of of the highest possible security threat rating.

One morning, Van espies Ixs and chases him to the cliffside precipice where Harwood is waiting. Ixs and Jorda are revealed to be working for him. He expresses his desire to tell the party of the island's history and wishes them to engage in entertaining him. When all of the other parties gather, Ellroy triggers a chemical weapon which kills everyone present. After this progression of events is rejected, Van and the party approach the cliffside by boat and Ellroy blackmails them into taking a tour of the island, else he will trigger the chemical weapons across the island and kill everyone present. Van is forced to oblige, and can tell no-one.

As Van makes his way across the island, he ends up battling several other parties who either suspect him of working with Ellroy or are just acting opportunistically. The Bracer Guild discover a bomb and confront the party, and accept Van has a reason why he cannot tell them what is going on, but cannot ignore it. They are defeated but then move to secure the other bombs. Ixs assists the party in defeating a joint effort by Heiyue and Zecht Arms, in which Cao Lee reveals his intentions for his brother and the organization. Some other groups are optional encounters. The group discover Jorda's vantage point and blackmail her into helping them bypass Marduk's forces. By making an agreement with the Gralsritter, the group are able to bypass a curse placed on the research facility. This curse was modified by Ellroy to make it worse, and he joins them when they face Lucrezia Isselee, Walter Kron and a Renne displaced by her Cross personality.

Later that evening, Harwood reveals some of the Cult's experiments and Quatre Salision's true nature, triggering him to transform into Quatre-Angelus and destroy the island. He comments they will do better as time is reset and these events rejected. This time, the party appease of the ill intent linger on the island by visiting three key locations and stop the island from destruction. They follow Quatre and Ellroy in the island's depths where they find the main Paradise lodge. Ixs and Jorda are confronted and they reveal the Apeiron and a reactor weapon, having the means to use it as the last surviving Eldarions and children of Gerard Dantès. They reveal they where in Melchior's branch of the Gardens and obeyed his final order for the Organization to wipe itself out. Should either Ixs or Jorda be defeated independently of the other, they trigger the weapon and destroy the island, with everyone on it.

At the bottommost depths, Ellroy himself confronts the party and shows them the gate to the Underworld that is going to open. The party defeat him and then strive to close the gate with their Xipha units. Renne succeeds with one last piece of assistance from the four personalities of her former friends that she had absorbed. With the gate closed, Ellroy remarks that he has done his part and the Gardenmaster reveals himself with Grendel Zolga. Swin Abel steals the pieces of the eighth Genesis and the Gardenmaster uses it to swipe all but one of the rest of them from Agnès Claudel. Swin, Zolga, and the Gardenmaster all withdraw.
