Noel Seeker (ノエル・シーカー), romanised by Falcom as Noël Seeker, is a member of the Special Support Section and a Sergeant Major of the Crossbell Guardian Force. During Crossbell's short-lived period of independence, Noel served as a Second Lieutenant in the Crossbell Defense Force. She is the older sister of Fran Seeker.

Appearance[]

Noel is a young woman with short brown hair and brown eyes. When operating as a member of the CGF, Noel wears the standard uniform for female members: a black, blouse, leggings and skirt with a beret and red tie. She has a holstered pistol, shoulder less gloves and an ankle guard on one leg.

As a member of the SSS, Noel opts for a black blouse and red tie, referencing her other role, as well as thigh-high stockings, pink shorts, a cropped green jacket and a green beret. She has a belt of ammunition rounds around her waist. Noel is armed with twin submachine guns.

Personality[]

Noel has a strong sense of duty to protect Crossbell from external threats, regardless of whoever her enemies are. She also enjoys driving and orbal cars in general due to her father having taken her to see them in action as a young child.

Background[]

Noel is a sergeant in the Crossbell Guardian Force and Fran's older sister. Ozma Seeker, Noel's father, was a Guardian Force soldier who died on-duty 10 years prior to the series. Noel assists the SSS on multiple occasions, usually in the form of providing transport and mission briefings to the team when undertaking missions from the CGF. The party also spars against her on several occasions when requested by the CGF. At the age of 15, Noel signed up for the Crossbell Guardian Force and underwent harsh training under supervision of Sonya Baelz. She demonstrated impeccable skills with firearms, which led to her promotion as sergeant at a young age.

Trails from/to Zero and Azure[]

Noel and the SSS provide support for each other from the earliest days of their operation. Noel comes to the aid of the SSS when they are pursued by Gnosis-influenced Defence Force members in two armoured vehicles. Noel uses her 4x4 to ram them off the road and give the SSS an opening to escape.

After the Cult Incident in Trails from Zero, in which she fought alongside Lloyd Bannings, she decided to join the Special Support Section on leave from the CGF. She displayed proficiency in driving vehicles and was designated the SSS official team driver when they received their official police vehicle.

Upon the declaration of Crossbell's independence, Noel returned to the CGF, now newly christened as the Crossbell Defense Force as a second lieutenant. She take part in apprehending the SSS at the Castle of Mirrors in a new white uniform. However, Lloyd is able to escape and bring back most of the group before heading to Bellguard Gate to speak with Sonya. He also correctly deduces that Noel is struggling to adapt to her new role and during their meeting in Bellguard, challenges her to a one-on-one fight. Noel's wavering belief in the CDF and her feelings for Lloyd cause her to lose the match, with Sonya having noticed her faltering performance. Noel is able to resolve her feelings and joins the SSS per her superior's "punishment".

Trails of Cold Steel I, II, III, and IV[]

Noel fought for Crossbell's liberty under Imperial annexation. She was mentioned to be amongst those trapped in Operation: Birdcage in Mishelam.

Trails into Reverie[]

Noel returns as a member of the SSS, helping them liberate the city from Governor General Rufus Albarea's forces along with the rest of the CGF. Noel takes part in several missions in the run up to the Independence ceremony, and is with the others when they are defeated by the returning now-Supreme Leader Rufus.

Noel later rescues Lloyd from the blazing Reinford Factory, using her motorcycle to bypass the flaming obstacles and fissures. She would then accompany Lloyd to the Moon Temple to help reinforce Sonya's resistance forces against the Dusken Dancer.

Noel takes part in the final battle against Elysium at the Retributive Tower.
