Trails of Cold Steel II[]

The eldest son of Emperor Eugent III, he is a prince known for his romantic ways. As he is an illegimate child, he is not in the line of succession of the throne, but perhaps because he is free of ties he has recently become well known, making frequent appearances in high society and the media. He serves as the chairman of the Thors Military Academy, and is also the founder and board member of Class VII, the special forces class to which Rean and his friends belong. He has long been concerned about the intensifying conflict between the Noble Faction and the Reformist Faction within the Empire, and led the construction of the state-of-the-art high-speed aircraft "Courageous". He has been gathering neutral and rational factions around the country, and has attempted to stop the civil war by becoming a "third force" in the conflict. However, he went missing along with Courageous as soon as the civil war broke out.[7]

Trails of Cold Steel III[]

The eldest child of the emperor of Erebonia, Olivert is the one responsible for bringing together the original Class VII. Though he's widely known as the "Debaucherous Prince," he actually gave up his claim to the throne years ago in order to avoid the issues that would come from his mother being a commoner. During the civil war, he left the airship he'd commissioned--the Courageous--to Thors Military Academy and headed to western Erebonia to bring aid to those affected by the war through his "Winds of Freedom" organization. As a result of the civil war, Chancellor Osborne managed to severely weaken the position of the nobility, leaving him with full control over the nation. Osborne proceeded to invade neighboring territories and relieve the Vanders of their position guarding the Imperial family. In a short span of time, Olivert had lost much of his power and ability to oppose the Chancellor. In the year 1206, after Olivert learns of the militarization of Thors Military Academy, he establishes the branch campus as his final act of rebellion. He then begins contacting his network of allies to take a stand against Chancellor Osborne.[8]

Appearance[]

Olivert is a tall man with blonde hair and violet eyes. He is normally depicted with his orbal pistol and/or a rose.

As Olivier Lenheim, he has long hair worn loosely to his shoulders, and wears a fancy white coat with blue stripes and a red neck tie scarf. He wears green trousers and knee-high light brown boots.

As Prince Olivert, he ties his hair back in a ponytail. His clothing colors are inverted from when he dresses as Olivier, as he wears an elegant red coat with a white neck tie scarf. He wears a blue tunic under the coat. The coat has golden shoulder epaulettes with golden tassels and a black and gold trim. He wears white trousers and dark brown boots that go up to either his knees where they open up. Olivert also has a variant of the Imperial Army of Erebonia uniform, black and red instead of the usual purple.

Personality[]

Olivert Reise Arnor is a dramatic person who has a flair for the arts. He enjoys fine wine and is talented with the lute and other musical instruments and has a tendency to over-exaggerate a lot. Despite being seen as a eccentric, flirtatious playboy, Olivert actually conceals a mature and serious side.

Olivert is proven to have many of the required traits of a ruler and is shown to deeply care about his country. He possesses deep concerns about the Noblesse system that it uses and thinks that reforms are required. He is also wary of Osborne who while possessing the same basic beliefs as him; beliefs that he could undermine the country from within through his aggressive reforms, leading Olivert sought to rebel against him whenever he could. Ultimately, Olivert's main belief is that the country should be run on equality and better communication with Erebonia's international neighbors, through diplomacy rather than a show of military might.

Olivert also cares deeply for his friends and will help them whenever possible. His best friend is Mueller Vander; Olivier particularly likes messing with him whenever possible, such as disappearing at inopportune times. Regarding his family, Olivert loves and cares about his parents and is not hurt about being passed over for the throne. He tends to encourage, reassure and spoil his younger brother, Cedric who greatly admires him; and gets along well with his younger sister, Alfin due to their similar personalities.
