Reins (レインズ), also known as Raines in Trails of Cold Steel III, is a Crossbell News Service reporter.

Appearance[]
Reins is a young man with purple hair. He wears a white buttoned shirt with a long long sleeved undershirt, trousers and a green tie. A lanyard is usually seen around his neck.
Background[]
Reins's twin brother is working in the agricultural sector in Ored. Both brothers are actually intelligence officers with the Alan Richard-led R&A Research. It is unknown what career Reins had prior to the start of the series.
After joining the company in S.1203, he initially wrote cooking columns in the Crossbell Times. He soon changed career paths to become a cameraman with the news publisher, taking on odd jobs for his seniors Grace Lynn and McCunnen.
Trails from/to Zero and Azure[]
Reins is working at the Crossbell Times throughout the events in Crossbell City, however it is later revealed he has also been gathering information and reporting back to his superiors in Liberl. He has been sneaking into hidden parts of the Downtown district to send his messages.
Trails of Cold Steel I, II, III, and IV[]
Reins is still working undercover in Crossbell.
