Scorpions of Zahat (ザハトの蠍) is a jaeger corps originating from the Central East of Zemuria.
Background[]
Scorpions of Zahat are an established group who largely operate in secretive ways. It is forbidden for any civilian to see their faces, with the penalty of death.
They are referred to as a 'mid-ranked' group.
Trails through Daybreak[]
Scorpions of Zahat are contracted to go after Almata for unknown reasons in Oración and are therefore caught in the Carnival. Their team is eliminated fairly early on in the game by the Marduk Company, but are forced to remain in the city until events are concluded.
The Arkride Solutions Office encounter their base while looking for a missing tourist. They intend to execute her for seeing their faces, a forbidden act in their corps. Van Arkride can either convince them to let her go, stating that she isn't worth the risk of the game leaking to the public and that they are contractually obliged to inform the Bracer Guild, or simply challenge them to a fight. In both instances, the civilian is free to go.
Trails through Daybreak II[]
The Scorpions of Zahat are active in Calvard. They take the place of the attacking Marduk Company and Warriors of Kruga when the effects of Feri Al-Fayed's Corrosion are undone. The Arkride Solutions Office is bombed and they pursue the party. They attack alongside Zecht Arms, who are not eroded but simply being opportunistic.
