Simone Auclair is the mother of Elaine Auclair and wife of Edmond Auclair. She does not appear and is only mentioned in Trails through Daybreak.

Simone is mentioned once in Finale: "For you, Upon Your Return". During a conversation between Van Arkride, Elaine and René Kincaid, Elaine mentions that she originally wanted to stay and watch over her father following his arrest (either until he was charged if he was arrested unharmed, or until he awoke if he was arrested after being seriously injured and rendered unconscious). However, in either case, her mother sent her off to continue her duties.
René remarks that though he hadn't seen her since his childhood, Simone struck him as a strong woman.

- It is unknown if Simone was aware of or in agreement with Edmond's nationalistic views, or had any knowledge of his crimes including the sponsorship of antiimmigrant groups.
