Trails of Cold Steel[]

The head of the Arseid family, Viscount of the lakeside town of Legram. He is Laura's father and is known as the Empire's greatest swordsman, nicknamed the "Radiant Blademaster". He has an old-fashioned personality, but is free-spirited and lacks even a trace of the arrogance of an aristocrat. To Rean, who has reached a dead end in his path as a swordsman, he tries to show him the way by becoming an overwhelming "wall to surpass". As a martial arts instructor for both the imperial army and the provincial army, he is concerned about the conflict between the aristocrats and the reformists, and while appealing to neutral and rational factions in various places, he tries to somehow calm the tensions before a civil war breaks out...[1]

Known as the Empire's greatest swordsman and nicknamed the "Radiant Blademaster", he shares the same views as Prince Olivert, who is concerned about the conflict between the nobles and the reformists. In the previous game he was chosen to be the captain of the high-speed cruiser "Courageous". As the Viscount of the lakeside town of Legram, he is well-liked by the people and has a strong spirit, as seen in his firm stand-up against Duke Albarea. In the chaos immediately following the outbreak of the civil war, he went missing along with Prince Olivert...[2]

The viscout of the town of Legram and head of the Arseid style of swordsmanship, one of the two major sword styles in Erebonia. Known as the Radiant Blademaster and the greatest swordsman in the empire, it's said that the only one who approaches his level of skill is his top disciple, Aurelia Le Guin. At the end of the civil war, he clashed with the Blazing Demon, McBurn in order to open a path for Class VII. Their battle went beyond the level of mortal understanding, but he was wounded as a result. After his daughter, Laura, graduated from Thors, he took her on a journey to train, in order to pass on the Arseid school's ultimate techniques to her. Something in his eyes gives the impression he's worried about the future, however...[3]

He wears a long over-coat tan ocean blue jacket with white and black separate stripe lining, underneath the jacket is a grey-brown button setup battle vest attach to a light-blue stripe shirt, then has on a dark-violet stripe shirt underneath that, a tied emerald scarf dangling down to his waist. He also wears a double-belt strap around the waist, tan bare color pants, violet royal style boots, brown gloves. Personality[]

Victor embodies the traits of a true nobleman who shows great devotion and support to others. He is kind, caring, wise and offers sage advice. As the head instructor of the family's swordsmanship, he can be serious, stern and a strict lecturer on those he tests the true mettle of in combat, and when confronting a foe of measure. In many cases, he is shown to be ever calm, collective and keeping a straight face against hostile elements be it in democracy or upon the battlefield. Another important aspect, Victor shows that he is a caring father who shows love for his daughter, seeing her as his precious child that means the world to him.
