Private Wayne, a NPC met at Sanktheim Gate
Private Wayne is a soldier serving in the Royal Army.
He's stationed at Sanktheim Gate checkpoint separating the cities Zeiss and Grancel and can be found behind the desk inside the main hall where he handles the travelling papers of people passing through the checkpoint.
Like all the other military checkpoints in the Zeiss region, Sanktheim Gate is put on high alert after the Zeiss Central Factory gets attacked and Wayne is among the soldiers performing inspections to make certain the attackers can't leave the region. Like many of his fellow soldiers in the region, he's flabbergasted when the inspections suddenly get cancelled while the culprits are still at large, leading Wayne to wonder why they even held inspections in the first place.
Private Wayne is on duty when Estelle and Joshua attempt to pass through the checkpoint. After some initial small talk where Wayne brings up the martial arts tournament held in the capital, he notices that the two are wearing bracer emblems and mentions this to CWO Dale, his commanding officer, when the latter comes walking in. Dale starts questioning Estelle and Joshua and when Estelle asks what the problem is, Wayne mentions that they've received word that there are terrorists disguised as bracers and have orders to detain all people claiming to be bracers, though this results in a reprimand from his superior. Before the situation can get out of hand, though, Professor Alba appears and resolves the situation by vouching for Estelle and Joshua, clearing them of suspicion.
Merely having the rank of private, Wayne has never met Colonel Richard in person, but ever since reading the articles written about him, he's become a huge fan of the colonel.
He's pretty enthusiastic about the martial arts competition and rues the fact that the tightened security at Sanktheim leaves him without time to attend there himself. Like many in the army, he's placing his bets on the special ops team to win the competition.

In addition, he's a subordinate of Chief Watch Officer Dale and Watch Officer Talbot.
